Preservation of cross package links upon export

If an EA model has links across packages (e.g., a class from the class model package has been dragged onto a diagram in a systems view package), will the EA export facility maintain this cross package dependency upon export of just one of the packages (e.g., say only the systems view package is exported)?

The xmi contains the guids of source and target. So yes, it will be preserved.
