Diagram properties preset

On doagram properties page I can check "Use Alias If Available". Can I specify initial value of the attribute for newly created diagrams?
I want all diagrams to display alias by default, without need to open property dialog and set the property manually.
Am I overlooking some setting?

You need to do that via automation.

Have you tried the template package?
Often that helps for those settings that you can't set in Tools|Options

Automation is something I would rather not use.
Template package is what I wanted. Thank you. Some ways in EA are really not straight forward.

I thought you were looking for changing a couple of existing diagrams. That's why I suggested automation. But obviously Geerts way is what you were looking for.
