Element External Requirements - Deleting?
« on: January 13, 2012, 12:21:40 pm »
If a requirement (say from a requirement model) is dragged onto a diagram element it automatically becomes an external requirement (a nice feature). But there seems to be no way remove or delete an external requirement from an element. Did I miss something?

Try using the Relationships window (View | Relationships), or the "Links" tab in the element's properties dialog.  You need to delete the Realization connection between your element and the external requirement.

Aaron,

Thank you for the quick response and suggestion.

The 'Delete Relationship' action from the 'Links' tab (in the Properties dialog) did the trick. I first tried the Relationship Matrix but was unable to have it show the Realization relation/link for the external requirement to the element (I also tried several other Link types to no avail). Is this a bug?
