Cannot select Advanced|Make Composite on Rght-Clck

EA Program Version is 7.1.833. I have a Component diagram and I want to be able to double click a component and then automatically navigate to a CompositeStructure diagram that I can then use to further detail that component. I’ve done this before. However. When I right click my diagram elements (now) for some reason, I don’t get the same options I used to get. Now I get UML options only. I cannot figure out how to get the choices I used to get on a right click. I think I need to be able to right-click the element and then choose the “Advanced” and then “Make Composite” option.

So how can I get the same choices that I used to get on a right click?

Maybe the element is already shown in the composite diagram? If so you only see a Composite with a checkmark. Else, what do you see in the context?

Thank you for responding. I don't know if I clicked a configuration item or what the other day, but now, it doesn't matter what element, and of what element type, and in what diagram, I get the same information when I right-click the element. And the choices that show on the right click are always equal to the items that are currently being deplayed in the UML Toolbox for the most part. And it doesn't matter if the toolbox is currently open or not; I.E. If it's not open then my right click options are equal to the last UML Toolbox items that were listed when it was open. So right now, my right click on any element starts with "Option", then "Package", "Requirement", "Issue", "Change", "Screen", "UI Control", "Test Case", "Entity", "Associate", "Aggregate", "Generalize", "Realize", "Nesting". And then below those, with expansion arrows are the following choices; "Analysis", "Use Case", "Class", "Interaction", "Activity", and "Common".

The behavior you describe is like you would typically see if the Ctrl or Shift key were being held down while you right click.  Check if the Windows StickyKeys feature is currently enabled.

Thank you! It is something to do with my keyboard. Haven't figured out what, why, or how though. I did find a key combination that gets me the proper context options per the element type though. So I'm back in business. Maybe my next reboot will get me back to where I permanently want to be. Thank you again.
