synchronisation of notes

Hi
I am using c++ code generation and have set the option 'Synchronise notes in generation' to false.
If I create a class and enter some class notes and the generate the code, the class notes appear in the code which is what I expect.
However, if I edit the comment in the code and then synchronise the class with the code the changes are reflected in the class notes which is not what I expected.
Have I misunderstood something or am I doing something wrong?

EA version is 9.2

The option that you have checked only applies to generation, not reverse engineering.

You could clear the checkbox at
Tools | Options | Source Code Engineering | Comments | Reverse
