Is there a mechanism or tool of Enterprise Architecture to do traceability between Use Cases, Requiriments and Components?

View -> Traceability (CTL + SHIFT + F4) is the EA way.

However this is just what elements are connected to in the project browser. For medical products we need to show Use Case -> Requirements -> Implementation -> Validation so I create a traceability model containg diagrams showing all the routes I want to trace, that may not be obvious from the model.
