Addition of Security Classification
« on: June 29, 2012, 10:54:59 am »
I have a need to attach a security classification marking to, at a minimum, all diagrams and potentially all elements.

I'm looking for ideas as to possible solutions.

Peter,

I would use tagged values for something like that.
You can define your own tagged value type with an enumeration of allowed values.
But I don't understand why you would want to attach that to diagrams.
In my view diagrams should never be allowed own any type of information; they are just views on your model.
In other words, if you remove all diagrams from your model you should still have all the information you need. Diagrams only make that information visible.

If you really need the information "this diagram is security related" then you have to find a naming convention. The better way is via the elements having tags. Inside these elements each diagram itself is security related per se.
