Convert Components to Classes
« on: August 22, 2012, 01:29:01 pm »
We have a model that has been constructed with component entities and we now want to convert these to classes without losing any of the relationships or metadata in the original model.

The two ways that have been suggested are to edit the repository database directly or to export to XMI and modify that.

Are these the best approaches to pursue?

Peter,

That would indeed be the best approach if you don't have too much elements to change.
Otherwise I would suggest the SQL approach.
