Customize HTML Report ToC
« on: September 26, 2012, 03:33:21 am »
Anybody know how to customize the Table of Contents in an HTML report. I'd like to prevent the display of the stereotype and also choose between Name and Alias for the text. It seems like the HTML should just follow the current settings in the project browser for this, but it doesn't. In any case, I don't think you can control it from the HTML templates, because the ToC is all generated by javascript. The javascript is all really obtuse, so I guess I'm just asking if anyone has any experience in modifying it.

By HTML table of contents I think you are referring to the HTML Project Browser tree on the left. A number of years back when the browser tree looked a bit ugly I managed to change it using javascript. It was painful and took a lot longer than I thought. I think it should only be attempted by   an experienced javascript programmer as its not for the faint hearted.
The latest browser tree looks a lot better these days and I wouldn't want to attempt changing it again.
Hope that helps  :)
Happy to help
