DoDAF OV-3 and SV-6 Help
« on: October 09, 2012, 04:47:39 am »
Hello,

I am using the DoDAF module and have created a project using that template/pattern.  The OV-3 and SV-6 have "table" diagrams in their folders, however, I can't find any documentation on the table diagram.

I also don't see how to automatically generate either of these views from the information entered in say, the OV-2 (for the OV-3).

Thanks for any help!!!

Both OV-3 and SV-6 are implemented as Search queries. I sugest you try a Ctrl+F and look at the set of Searches under the UPDM 2.0 search group.
P.s. there is a draft paper on UPDM covering these views - as it is yet to be published you can contact support via email (see below) and I will pass it on.

Thanks.  How do you add the necessary attributes for the diagrams?  The OV-3 and SV-6 tables have a required set of data we have to provide.  I haven't found the attributes in the Search or the Table views in EA, and it's unclear how I add the required information.  thanks again!

I'm curious about this as well.  Below is some feedback I heard from [email protected]:

With the OV-3 search query - this is locked for modification, however you can copy the SQL text from this and create your own OV-3 SQL query and add any fields you want within the scope of the SQL statements.
