Diagram to Support Service features
« on: October 18, 2012, 04:54:43 am »
HI there,

I am a new user of EA and fairly new to Business modelling - can you help me please, I am trying to define a new service which we will be developing, I want to define the "service features" in a model/diagram that will be used as a start point, from there will look to define detailed requirements and use cases.

Can you suggest . advise what model/tools I should look to use please?  thanks.

I think you could use some kind of hierarchical requirement model for this, where 'service features' are top level functional requirements of your system, e.g. 'User Account Management', 'Customer Order Management', ...). These can include and refer further requirement elements, that will be tracked by use cases a.s.o.
