Element from "Diagram Element" in doc gen

Hi all,
I am fairly new to EA and am trying to get to grips with the Document Generator.

I was wondering if there was any way to effectively "cast" a Diagram Element to the "real" Element in the Document Generator, thus being able to access the Elements Properties rather than the limited Diagram Elements properties?

I don't think this is possible. I didn't find a posisbility.
However, EA v10 will solve your problems. With the new version you can use custom SQL queries to get all information you want for your documents.
