Free SVG to EMF/WMF converter?
« on: November 13, 2012, 10:30:14 pm »
Hi!

I'm looking at a situation where I have a number of SVG-files which I'd like to add to my EA-project. However, from what I've seen, I'm only able to assign WMF/EMF formatted images to UML-types. As this is a "one of" process I'm reluctant to buy a license for a "top notch conversion tool". Do you know of any solution out there AND which runs under win7?

Many thanks!

I've used the mini emf printer from verypdf in the past when we had to convert some images into emf (not EA related)
That works in Win7 as well. I believe there's a free/trial version that works but that only allows you to convert one file at the time (and you can't tell it where to save it)
For what we needed it to do that was enough.

Hi Geert!

Thanks for your suggestion. Although it works it is simply not feasible for us to use this approach. I've posted a "feature request" for the support for svg in a coming version. Many thanks for your suggestion though :)

Cheers

Good idea, its got lots of support

Image Manager ... doesn't?
Save diagrams in SVG format
save diagram in vector format (svg)
Orthogonality rules
Position and Team disestablished, thanks austerity.
Now itinerant.
