Same Tagged Values for multiple projects
« on: November 29, 2012, 01:23:13 am »
Hi all,
I have defined a set of tagged values for requirements inside a project.
If I want to reuse them in other projects, do I have to create a UML profile and derive a subclass from Requirement metaclass?
Or is there a way to just transfer the existing tagged value definitions?
Alternatively, can I somehow define a set of tagged value types in kind of  "global scope" so they are available in any EA project?

Thanks,

P.

If all you want is the tagged value types, put them directly in an MDG technology.

The process is easy, run the wizard and when prompted for what you want to include select only tagged value types.

Thanks to your advice, I found this corresponding guide.
http://www.sparxsystems.com/uml_tool_guide/sdk_for_enterprise_architect/creatingmdgtechnologies.htm

This was helpful for me, thanks again.
