Cannot access keystore from my new windows 8 lapto

Dear All

I have a EA implementation at my home (version 8, upgraded to V9). My home PC has the EA configured and key store service is managing my licences.

Now I have purchased a new laptop (windows 8) PC and trying to install EA on my new computer.  However when try to connect to my key store at the original PC I get the error message "Could not connect to the Sprax Systems Key Store Service at SSKS://homePC".  

I would like to know what do I have to do to get this working...

It really could be anything. Immediate thoughts... Try using an ip address and are there any firewalls, ports being blocked etc?

Hi Simon

I was working on this.  I've added a firewall rule to allow inbound network access to KeyStoreService (TO the keystore service exe) in the host computer and now its working.
 
I am not sure how secure this approach is.  I assume allowing an un-signed exe with network access is not good security practice
