EA has experienced a network error and will close

Hello, I am trying to connect to a Postgres 9.0 DB.  I have created the DB schema and the windows DataSource. and clicking on 'test' makes a successful connection to the DB.  
However, when I try to 'connect to server' from the EA application, I get a dialog box error "Enterprise Architect has experienced a network error and will close down

Is there a log somewhere I can use to diagnose this error?  Any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks! ...  I am new to EA and its forum and when I searched for 'network error' it was defaulting to only the last week of posts.  Once I opened up the time frame to the last year, I found a post with a solution!

The solution was to make the 'ea' user in postgres a SuperUser.  I agree with the poster that this is not a good practice.

Most newbies fall into that pit with the time frame. It's absolutely pointless. Except that Sparx' server gets double tho load: no results in default + second search. The reason for that silly thing is likely that search is not database but textfile based (you guess it from search times).

I'm having the same problem.

As well, when I tried to 'connect to server' from the EA application version 8, I get a dialog box error
"Enterprise Architect has experienced a network error and will close down".
