BPMN activity : stereotype icon over the title
« on: December 21, 2012, 12:11:52 am »
Hi,

In a BPMN2 diagram, if you create a stereotyped activity e.g. Service, the icon is rendered on the top left of the activity element.
Once the title is updated, the icon is often displayed over part of the title.

Can this be resolved, or could Sparx consider fixing this rendering issue?

thanks
Guillaume

Hi,

We've run into same issue. Is there any fix or workaround?

This issue has been looked at in the latest build 1006 :
BPMN 2.0 Activity names will no longer draw over Icons.

Having tested this new build, I noticed an improvement however this hasn't been completely resolved. I still have to increase some of my activities' width to prevent the title from being displayed over the icon.

It would be good if Sparx could improve this further.
