Deployment Diagram in EAExample
« on: March 06, 2013, 01:08:27 am »
Hi,
Probably trivial issue yet frustratingly can't seem to figure it out..

On the HO Servers Deployment Diagram in the EAExample Project are a bunch of node instances that have configuration descriptions on them, such as:

"Disks = 4 x 120GB" and "RAM = 1024 MB".

How are these created and attached to the node in question?
How are they updated/removed?

Many, many thanks in advance if anyone knows and can shed some light - the descriptions and tutorials I have seen/worked through seem to skip over these finer points...

Using EA Version 10.

Br,
Joe

Elements like those are attached to the Classifier via Attributes (e.g. "Dell PowerEdge 6650" has an Attribute "Ram").
The runtime state of the instance of the Classifier in the "HO Servers" can be then set via right-click-> Advanced -> Set Run State (Ctrl-Shift-R).

Hope that helps,
Chris
