Traceability of parts

Hello,

currently it is not possible to trace the property type of parts within a composite structure diagram in the traceability view of EA. You have to use -> Find -> Locate Property Type in Browser.

Also the other way around. You cannot see classifier usages of a property type in the traceability view. You have to use ->Find in all Diagrams.

Is there any reason, why the property type is missing in the traceability view? As I see, it would be of great help with models containing a lot of composite structure diagrams.

I see the following possibilities:

• you can use a Relationship Matrix together with searches
• you can use searches
• you can use searches together with a little script

     (select part and call the search via a little script)

• you can make a little Addin
