Transformation duplicates package structure

When I use the "Transform Current Package" to transform selected elements within the package, EA duplicates the entire package structure from the root of the project into the target transformation package.

Is there any way that I can get only the selected elements transformed into the selected output package without duplication of the entire package tree?

Use the Tools | Model Transformation (MDA) | Transform Selected Elements menu option.

You can modify the templates to not generate anything from the Namespace templates.

Transforming from diagram selection (including using the main menu) will not prevent namespace structure being transformed.
