MySQL error when attempting a project transfer
« on: April 25, 2013, 04:01:14 pm »
Hi,

I need to take an offline EAP copy of a project that's maintained in MySQL
However when running the project transfer, I get an error code and a short message : DB has failed

I haven't yet run a Project Integrity Check (analysis only prompts one error to fix on an orphan element) -> is it safe to run? Is there something else I should run to fix this issue?

thanks
Guillaume

Running integrity check is save.

Can you open the DB then "normal" way?

As a work-around: export as XMI and import into an empty EAP. Anyway if you want to copy your offline work you will likely need to transfer packages via XMI.
