Cannot check out branch

Version control: SVN, multiple users.
I am unable to check out the packages, EA reports:

Check-out attempt failed for the following sub-tree packages:
Project Overview:- file 'Project Overview.xml' is already checked-out

However no user has a checked out model. How can I repair this? I already asked svn to release any lock.

Issue a Project/Version Control/Re-synch. That will remove the remembered settings inside EA and replace it with svn settings.

Great! I needed to do an additional "Remove locks" in SVN with one user, but this did the trick. Now I can finally continue working on my model.
