HTML Output and External Hyperlinks
« on: May 23, 2013, 02:19:39 am »
In the HTML output, if you have links to files such as PDFs the file is opened in the main display frame, leaving the heading and browser frames in place.

However if you have a hyperlink to an external web address, that causes the framed view to be lost when it's clicked and the full browser window is used to go to that internet address.   Does anyone know whether that can be changed to use the main display frame instead (just like with files) and if so how to make the change  (via the webstyle template perhaps) ?

thanks

Hi Graham,

I have used the HTML export alot in my time using EA.

One of the little tricks I discovered is:
Create a Element
Select Properties
In the Notes add the Iframe Tag
Example <iframe src="http://www.google.com" width="1000px" height="1000px"></iframe>

It's not perfect, but just might be the outcome you are looking for, there maybe a way to increase the notes field in the HTML configuration in the application itself.

Regards,

Stoppy  :)
