How to link requirements in virtual documents
« on: June 03, 2013, 04:52:50 pm »
Hi all,
I have a question regarding the generation of virtual documents within the EA.

Situation:
I have defined two model documents that contain the same package “Functional requirements” where all requirements are located.

The first model document “Requirements list” generates a table, listing all requirements (name, alias, status).
The second one “Functional requirements”, generates requirements chapters including more detailed information like name, package, version, author, description, priority, etc..
The generated document combines both model documents to only one “Technical analysis”

Requirement:
Now I would like to be able to link elements, of both model documents, with each other.
E.g. pressing on a requirement of the “requirements list” of the first model document would link to the corresponding requirement chapter of the second model document.

Question:
Is there any way to jump/link from a requirement A that appears in the first model document “Requirements list” to the same requirement A chapter of the second model document?

Best regards to all and many thanks in advance,

Michael
