'Hide Connector in Other Diagrams' by Default
« on: June 27, 2013, 06:09:11 pm »
Hello,
Is it possible to set the 'Hide Connector in Other Diagrams' as a default for diagrams?
I'm creating a set of Activity-Diagrams for overall view. I reuse existing Activity-elements and link them with connectors.
I don't want to ruin the existing Activity-Diagrams with additional Connectors, so I set 'Hide Connector in Other Diagrams'-Option via context menu manually. Exists a smarter way to hide connectors in all other diagrams?
Thank you
Rudi

Rudi,

The fact that you need something like that indicates that you're doing it wrong.
You should use Actions and not Activities.
For a full description of this best practice see: UML Best Practice: There are no Activities on an Activity Diagram
