Adding elements to a checked in package
« on: July 05, 2013, 02:37:38 pm »
Hello,

currently we test the version control feature in EA and found out, that it is possible to add elements to already controlled and checked in packages. Editing or deleting existing elements is not possible. I can give a new element a name, which appears in the project browser. But when I then click on this element again, the name suddenly changes to the default name "class". Executing "Get Latest" will remove this new element instantly. "Check out" will not remove it, but a later "Check in" will also not add this new element to the XMI.

I actually don't think, that this is a feature. Or is there any motivation for such behavior?

Thanks!
