How to add images to requirements
« on: August 01, 2013, 05:31:07 pm »
Hi,

I need to add/associate images to requirements (e.g. a screenshot). I wonder what is the best way to do so. The images must also appear in the generated documentation when the requirement is mentioned.

I tried several things, like adding an association between the requirement and the boundary storing the image. But I did not find a way to print out the image in the generated documentation then.

Currently I solve it like this:
For each requirement with images I make a dedicated custom diagram only holding the image(s) boundaries. This diagram is then moved in the project browser so that it becomes a leaf of the requirement it belongs to. By so doing the generated report will print the diagram with the images after it encounters the requirement.

But probably/hopefully there is a better way to do so?!

Thanks and cheers,
Lars

Lars,

We use "linked document" for things like that.
