DB2 - showing schema names
« on: August 29, 2013, 12:32:48 am »
I am new to EA  (fair warning!).  When I import a database with via ODBC from db2 (unix), how can I display the schema name in the project browser and the diagrams along with the table names?

Just rename the folder into which you have imported. With the folder selected click the New Diagram icon and create a class diagram. Then drag all tables onto the diagram and choose auto-layout. You will likely need to do some manual corrections.

P.S. You should drag one table first and select "Options/Use Ctrl..." prior to moving the rest of the tables since EA would ask for each single table how to copy it.
