Documentatin from multiple sections and diagrams
« on: September 12, 2013, 11:59:03 am »
Question 1: A two fold question. I have a package that contains a high level diagram and activity (incl some descriptions), then nested activities and level 2 diagrams (incl some descriptions) by way of Diagram > Composite Structure Diagram.
When I use Documentation > RFT Report it generates the L1 Diagram + the description of all activities, and L2 Descriptions but no diagrams. Is this a bug?

Question 2: I want to generate a document from various areas in the Project browser Tree, not all in a high level root. How do I achieve that?

Hi,

1. Have you selected child Elements in the element section?
A good idea is to use the basic template. It outputs almost everything.
Then you can see whats different to your template.

2. You have to define:
- MasterDocument
(a stereotyped package which contains model documents)
- For each package or package group one model document with the template of your choice.
You simply drag the packages you want to document on the model document
In SPARX resources is a description about rtf generation.
In the example model is an example of a model document).
