EA vs Rhapsody
« on: September 12, 2013, 01:57:55 am »
Hi all,
I am new to the forum. I am an IBM Rhapsody user evaluating to migrate to Enterprise Architect. There are some features I am currently using in Rhapsody for which I would like to get your opinion about the EA counterpart (if available). In particular:
-code generation. Is it code generation from behavioral diagrams (statecharts, activity diagrams) available in the standard EA installation, or do I need an add-on (e.g., the lieberlieber AMUSE) ?
-testing. Rhapsody has the TestConductor add-on to run test cases over the model. How is testing supported in EA? Is it possible to execute tests directly in EA or does it rely on external testing platforms?
If someone has a good comparison between the two tools and wants to share it, I would be glad to look at it.  :)

Thanks,
Massimiliano
