Traceability from/to sequence diagram

But still now I don't know how to crete an interacation as a element from ToolBox although I understand to do it under class on Project Browser pane.
Toolbox does not show 'Interaction' as one element.
What I operate was ToolBox | Click 'more tools' | Select 'interaction', then ToolBox shows Interaction classified elements, e.g., actor, lifline, something like that. but  'Ineraction element' itself does not apear.
Kindly correct my operations above ?

What release of EA are you working in?

Is there a page in that Interaction toolbox called Additional?

Well, as far as I know the Additional page, containing the Interaction element, should be there in the Toolbox in your edition of EA.

Try this:
Right click on the Interaction page and select 'Set Toolbox Visibility'
Check against the 'Additional' (very next to Interaction) | Click OK.

Sorry. Just realized that you'd need

Program version 10.0.1007( Build: 1007) or higher.

My apologies. It seems that this Additional page and the Interaction icon were added in build 1007 in March of this year. When I looked at the edit date of the topic file, it was old, but if I update a graphic file in the Help it doesn't change the topic edit date, and I have just seen that the graphic file was updated in March.

So, Wally, you are perfectly correct, sane and normal!

You could upgrade to the latest release and get the icon in the toolbox. Otherwise, you can create the Interaction through the Project Browser and drag it onto your diagram.

There is another thing you might try, but I doubt if it will work. On your Interaction diagram, press the Ctrl key and click the mouse. You will get a list of elements and connectors. Does Interaction appear on that list? I think that the list is a direct reflection of the Toolbox, so the element won't be included, but try it anyway.

Thanks RoyC for investigation.
Since I can't upgrade without IT guys' approval. I'll create the Interaction through the Project Browser and drag it onto others.

I also tried the latter things you mentioned, but it does not work well.

Anyway, I proceed to work using your former advice.
