ea for reverse engineering js into flow chart

Hi

I need a tool to generate flow chart from the code I write in html5 + javascript + jquerymobile. I read enterprise architect is the right tool. How to use it for that purpose?

Hmm. What is a flow chart? If it's that what I guess: use Visio.

Note also some caveats.

You would be hard pressed to find it in the EA help.

and some 'bugs' (someone termed this salesware).

• it is not possible to use the quick linker to link to or from the On Page Connector. This is a bug.    
• it is not possible to remove the stereo text from the Begin, End, and Decision names displayed in the diagram.This is a bug.  
• when using the quick linker a "connector" link is created without prompting for the type, except when the source is Process, DefinedProcess. This is a bug, there should not be a prompt

Regarding the comments in the forum...

• Our developers have confirmed that this is a bug and it is logged to be fixed. As a workaround you can create these connectors via toolbox instead.

• You can hide these labels by disabling the "Diagram | Properties > Elements | Show Element Stereotypes" option.

• It appears some types are inheriting common connectors. Our developers have confirmed that this is a bug also. As a workaround you can create these connectors via the toolbox.
