Data modeling
« on: April 08, 2014, 05:59:16 pm »
I'm working on data modeling diagram and I added some colums/attriburtes to a table, but I can't see it in the diagram. I checked all items in Features Visibility dialog but it doesn't help.

Any idea?

Did you check the diagram 's properties. (Elements -> Attributes, Operations)?

Attributes/Operations are already checked in the diagram's properties dialog (in the Elements tab).

I've seen people use different diagrams for data modelling in Sparx EA, namely class diagrams, data modelling diagrams and ERD. Usually with class diagrams and data modeling diagrams you can see the attributes when you add them so not sure what is causing your problem. However I have seen some one use an ERD and add attributes to the entity rather than as separate nodes as the notation dictates. They couldn't see the attributes and seem surprised until I inform them they aren't using the notation properly. Just a thought - your not using ERD diagrams are you?
Happy to help
