Creating objects based on classes
« on: April 15, 2014, 09:20:22 pm »
Hi,

I need an object diagram with objects of the same classes. I have already created a class.

1) How to create an object based on that class ? My workaround: to create an object an then to cast it with "instant classifier"

2) After classifying are all the calls attribute hidden, although:

a) the class atrributes are public
b) feature visibilty (for object) : all the checkboxes were set.

Thanks a lot in advance,

Michel

Just ctrl-drag the class on a diagram. You will be asked how to copy. Choose Instance. You can set that as default (it's a bit buried in the dialogue like many things).

You've to set runtime value for the attributes to display them in object diagram. Check http://www.sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/10/standard_uml_models/runtimestate.html
