Controlling the display of notes in diagrams

In a diagram I can select "Properties -> Elements" and check the "Notes" box to display all of the notes in my diagram.  Is there a way to individually show the notes for some and not others?  I ask because we are importing our requirements from DOORS which has the text in the "Notes" field which I do want to show, however I dont' want to show the notes field for Components that I add to the diagram (for traceability of requiremetns to components).
