Heading list numbering in linked document
« on: April 17, 2014, 10:26:27 pm »

Hello.

I have a question about the heading list numbering for the linked documents within an RTF report.

Let's say, I have a RTF template, where package headings are numbered.

1 Package 1
2 Package 2
2.1 Package 2.1

If the 'Package 2.1' contains a linked document, which itself has numbering, how do I force the report generation to start numbering based on the package's number. So, instead of the linked document having sections such as 1.1.1, 1.1.2, I want them to follow 'Package 2.1's number, and turn to 2.1.1, 2.1.2, ...

Is there a way to achieve this? Maybe, import the RTF template's list overrides into the linked document?

Thanks in advance.

I don't believe that you can.
The linked document is independent of the model documents.
