Linked Document Templates

A while ago I created some Linked Document templates in the Project Resources tab.
Now I want to make some changes but when I open the document template it is locked against editing.
If I right click in the document I am supposed to be able to select other->Protect Lock, but this option is greyed out.

Does anyone have any idea how I can enable editing again?

The template is probably read-only. (Either a system one or from a technology)

You'll need to create a copy before you can edit it.
