RTF Reports and Connectors

When I  Generate a report with the model report template, many tables describing connectors appear.  What I want to achieve is to present the information differently, and in an other language.   I tried word substitution to translate English headings but I cannot find all these heading in the substitution table and cannot see how to add substitution elements.  

Plus, I would like to change these tables and express the connectors with slightly different information.   I tried to create a template based on the Model template.  Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find control on manipulating these connectors in the document through the "sections" selection window.  

Any tip?
