merge duplicate elements

We created 2 elements (the same table) of a Database. Each one with this own links.
I've just discovered this. how can I merge the 2 elements in one with all links ?

You may have guessed it: manually. Create a temp diagram. Place both elements on it and use Insert Related to see all links. Then drag the connectors to which ever you choose as the relevant one. Then use Ctrl-U to find occurrences of the obsolete one  and replace them with the new element. Finally delete the obsolete one. Backing up before doing this procedure is a good idea.
