Passing Parameters to SQL source Charts/ModelViews

Hi,

I am using "parameters" in the sql source for my charts and model views, for instance get all elements created after a specific date. It would be great to have the possibility to modify these parameters with the help of a simpe input box instead of modifying the sql source.
The Edit List Mode provides Field Chooser, Group Box and a Filter Bar, but unfortunately no input boxes for parameters.
Any possibilities?
