Hi

I have been using EA Corporate version for some years as a professional IT-architect. Now I'm retired but still interested and involved in some private (and open source) projects. To save some money I am considering to by the Professional version but the Database Builder is not part of that version. What does "Database Engineering" mean? What can you actually do in the Professional version? I am only interested at this point of what you can do with databases.

Corporate version is the version to go. The few dollars extra are worth it.

The professional edition should really be renamed in to amateur.

You need the database builder if you are serious about modelling databases in EA. (reverse/forward engineering)
