Cloud and Security

I am wondering if I am missing something simple, as I am new to the cloud setup.

I have a SQLServer database on which have applied security and am requiring a lock for editing.  This works when I connect through the server.

I am able to connect through the cloud and traverse my project.  Yet, when I connect through the cloud, I am unable to lock anything and therefore cannot edit anything.  I fear I am missing something fundamental.  

Currently running version:  11.1.1111(Build 1111)

Thoughts?

You didn't click the 'read-only' checkbox when setting up the cloud connection to that model did you?

That's all that I can think of so far. I do connect to cloud models with security enabled regularly, but not usually with require user lock to edit.

Our tech team discovered this issue and flipped this switch and all is well on the cloud!  It seemed like it had to be something simple.
