Document generation / report - outline level body
« on: June 05, 2015, 11:05:57 pm »
Hello folks,

When I generate a document all my text is considered to be level 1 outline except headings which are at the correct level.
I don't understand why since if i go in the properties of the text, it is considered as Body but i can still see it on my navigation pan.
I am generating in RTF since i use the docgenerator class, but i got the same issue generating in rtf in the classic generator.

This problem does not exist in docx generation.

Have some one the same issue?
Can we use the docgenerator class with docx?

There's an option somewhere on the template properties called "Adjust heading levels". Have you tried changing that?

That option supposedly act on headings only no?
Even "Normal" Style appears in the navigation bar as a lvl1 style.

Welll I tried, and he does not work. thanks for the hint

Do you have the same issue?
(I run a Standard Model Report in RTF from the root node, and i got the crazy problem (you must look in the navigation panel in the word document so see it))

I sometimes have a similar issue when using template fragmenst. A body section that takes the level of the previous heading.

Adding extra newlines before or after the template fragment solves that problem.

Okay, i am here to give some conclusion:
THIS IS NOT WORKING IN RTF....

but, use an EA 11.1 (or higher) and get a DocX output and TADDDAAAAA. (All with the EXACT SAME script (just changed rtf to docx at save))
