Newbie - OGC UML classes
« on: June 23, 2015, 12:34:56 am »
Hi - I'm trying to extend and use some classes from an OGC standard (GML, SE...) but I don't see how I can make use of the OGC UML in my Class diagram - any pointers to documentation very gratefully received!
Many thanks
Paul

Do you mean this: http://www.sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/12.0/domain_based_models/uml_profile_for_gml.html
You have to enable the MDG technology, and then usually there's a toolbox and diagram type(s) specific for this technology you can use.

Thanks Geert and yes, that looks the job. Just need to get the powers that be who control all things installational to get the MDG technology (whatever that is :-))  installed!

Many, many thanks!

Cheers
Paul

Paul,

I think the MDG technology comes standard with EA, no need to install it separately.
Just enable it using Extensions|MDG Technologies
(unless the MDG technology didn't exist yet in the version you are using).
