Show constraints on a "Realization"
« on: February 13, 2017, 11:43:26 pm »
hey there,

I am using constraints to dokument some aspects on a "Realization" between two classes.
On a diagram, i would like to show these constraints, similar to the way constraints are shown in an Assiciation.

However i cannot figure out how the Constraint  can be made visible on a diagram.

any hints on this topic?

best regards

To what did you put the constraints?
If you e.g. put it to a class, select the element in the diagram. Press right mouse button, select Features & Properties/Feature and Compartment Visibility… and tick Constraints.
Best regards,

You can't show them on a diagram :-/ However, what you can do is to create a constraint element from the toolbox (context menu/Common), fill that out and then from the context of this constraint issue Advanced/Set Attached Links and tick the connector where you want it.

Hey qwerty & Peterheintz

Thank you very much for your replies.

I was using  the constrains on a "realize" connection, not on a class. The solution mentioned by qwerty worked for me.

Best regards
