Element->Advanced->Context menu does not appear
« on: March 18, 2017, 05:38:19 am »
Somehow, I lost this on all shape and diagram types.

1) Right-click on an Element.
2) Select Advanced.
Only thing that shows is "Tagged Value". None of the other cool features are present.

Please tell me what I did to cause this, and how to restore it.

I have no idea. Does that happen on all elements? Have you turned on security? Is the diagram/element locked? Is the package VC/checked out?

It happens on most elements, including the ones I use most: UML, Archimate3, ZF.  It works on diagrams. It works for connectors. Does not work for most elements.

1) Uninstalled and Re-installed the application. Problem persists.

2) I went into AppData\Roaming\Sparx Systems and deleted all the XML files in all subfolders.
Closed and re-opened app. No change. Problem persists.

3) Disabled all MDG technologies.

Look into View/Working Sets (where ever that might be in the ribbons) and check if everything is ticked.

Hi Qwerty. SOLVED. OPERATOR ERROR, it seems.
NOT A BUG! Somehow, my Menu Sets got changed to Reader, which disabled "MDA Transformation".

Restored to "Complete" profile, using "Workspaces and Commands" dialog, which I accessed by:

Code: [Select]
Ribbon->Start->Perspectives->Show Perspectives->Workspaces and Commands->Menu Sets.
Regrets,
-A
