Set max size for diagrams in document generation
« on: July 27, 2015, 06:56:28 pm »
Hello.

I'm generating a series of sequence diagrams and some of them are coming out too large for the page and are overrunning the footer, is there any way in the document template to set the max size for the images? Or some way to stop them from overrunning the footer? Are there page margin settings

Rich.

I have no idea about the doc generator. But each diagram has a Size To Fit option for the scaling. Maybe this will be respected.

Thanks qwerty. I had a look at your suggestion but didn't try as it would have been very labour intensive to add this to all the individual diagrams.

I did find a solution, if you right click in the template and go to File -> Page Settings, you can set the bottom margin, but this is a very manual way to do it. If you change the size of the footer you'll have to re-adjust the page margin.

I'm going to report this as a bug to the EA developers as it seems like a pretty big formatting error.

Thanks for your suggestion.
