XML in Unicode - Have to change Code Page?

I have code page set to windows-1252:
Options -> XML Specs -> Code Page = windows-1252 (default)
and I want all XMI exports to be in Unicode (UTF-8).

Should I have to change it to utf-8 (or utf8?)?
