ReqIF and RIF in EA Architect
« on: July 27, 2015, 06:55:19 pm »
Has anyone written a RIF or ReqIF (Requirements Interchange Format) Export/Import Add-in for EA Architect? I'm wondering if I should spend effort in writing an XSLT translation.

I don't have any experience with these, but a bit of searching suggests there may be a couple of third-party solutions available for Import/Export of ReqIF (RIF).  See:

I tried looking those resources up but the ReqIF Add-in has some files that I do not recognize. I must not understand how to insert Add-ins. The LieberLieber solution I could not understand either because it seems that the "Connector" belongs to some other product suite on the site. I'm not sure to which one. They describe the Connector, but do not mention to which product it belongs.

At the moment I am simply using a RIF-ReqIF Translation and then using FormalMind Studio to do Requirements Management. I might have to write my own XSI translator however to make it work in EA Architect.
