Can't remember how to break a connector.
« on: September 11, 2015, 06:57:21 am »
This is a feature that I found and used in the past but, now that I need it again, can't find the menu control.  On a long connector I was able to break the connector and a label was created at the end of each line segment (one to the source and one two the target).  This is on a Data Modeling diagram.  I hope someone recognizes this feature from my description and tell me where to find to menu option to invoke it.
Thanks

Hi Tom,

You need to create two or more bending points to a target connector, then select Suppress Segment menu item of its context menu.

Are you talking about Source Role or Target Role?
For getting those options you'd need to right click on the connector closer to either source element or the target element.
For just creating a segment, CTRL+click on the connector.

Thank you HTH.  That's what I needed.  The process makes perfect sense when I see it again - but I'm still making a note for next time!
